Tuckerman is a 2004 QH/Belgian cross being offered for sale by a client of Lakes Region Dressage. He is a big, study boy but only stands 15.3 hands. Tuckerman is a fast learner, always aims to please, and has a puppy dog personality. With only 2 months under saddle, he is showing great promise and goes like an old pro.  Tuckerman longes and rides walk, trot, and canter both inside and out, round pens, hacks out alone or with others, and has started jumping small, age appropriate fences.  He is very level headed, but sensitive and forward. He loves to go, but is never naughty or spooky. This kind of temperament is hard to come by! Unlike many draft crosses, he has a clean, 3 beat canter that is balanced and uphill. His strong, compact build and easy going personality will make him an ideal lower level eventing horse. Tuckerman also has good ground manners, goes out with other horses, is an easy keeper, cross ties, clips, bathes, stands for vet/farrier, etc. His flashy, tri-colored paint coloring gets the attention of everyone who visits the farm and is sure to get you noticed in the show ring! Even though he is a good boy, he will require an intermediate or better rider because he is still very green.
